Part 2 - Profile and background in deliberative democracy

How would you describe your experience in the practices, projects, or processes of deliberative democracy in which you have participated?

I have led several processes/projects aimed at institutionalizing democratic and participatory processes with diverse groups, with experience in seeking social financing and coordinating with other organizations. I have participated in and facilitated citizen participation activities (workshops, consultations, meetings) to promote deliberative democracy processes in different communities. I have coordinated multi-stakeholder coordination processes to develop citizen participation methodologies in citizen laboratories and social innovation with different social groups, influencing local or public policies. I have participated in political advocacy processes with decision-makers, activism, relations with government or legislative institutions, and support for social causes. I have led some of these meetings.

What has been your level of experience in designing and implementing citizen participation or deliberative democracy processes?

I have participated in participatory or deliberative processes mainly as part of the support team or as a facilitator at specific stages of the process. I have comprehensively led design and implementation processes, successfully coordinating methodologies, stakeholders, partners, and sustainable outcomes in decision-making and political advocacy spaces. I have led and partially coordinated the design and/or implementation of citizen participation or deliberative democracy processes in groups, communities, or institutions.

Tell us about a specific experience in which you participated in the design or implementation of a citizen participation or deliberative democracy process. What role did you play, who else was involved, and what were the main results or lessons learned?

What has been your experience in designing and implementing strategies for political advocacy?

I have led comprehensive political advocacy strategies, from strategic design to implementation, achieving concrete changes in public policies, regulations, and decision-making spaces. I have designed or partially coordinated political advocacy strategies, bringing together stakeholders and promoting proposals in local or sectoral spaces, with some visible results. I have participated in political advocacy activities supporting community mobilization actions, message development, and participation in meetings, but I have not led design or implementation processes.

Tell us about an experience where you participated in a political advocacy strategy. What was your role, who else was involved, and what results or changes were achieved in decision-making spaces?

How would you describe your experience in strategic relationships with key actors such as the public sector, private sector, funders, and civil society?

I have participated in dialogue or collaboration spaces with some actors from the public and community sectors, mainly in a supporting or accompanying role, without leading strategic relationships. I have consistently led strategic relationship-building processes, coordinating various stakeholders (decision-makers, financiers, entrepreneurs, civil society, and communities), generating stable alliances and concrete results in terms of advocacy and cooperation. I have coordinated or facilitated relationships with various stakeholders (public, private, or community), achieving specific agreements or support for projects or processes.

Share an experience in which you managed a strategic relationship with actors from the public, private, or community sector. What was your role, which actors were involved, and what results or partnerships were achieved from that experience?

How would you describe your experience in leading civil society or NGO processes?

I have led comprehensive processes in civil society and NGOs, guiding teams, driving organizational change, and coordinating stakeholders to achieve collective goals for social impact or transformation. I have had participatory or supporting roles in processes for civil society or NGOs, with limited experience in direct leadership. I have exercised leadership in specific projects or initiatives within social organizations or NGOs, assuming responsibilities in team coordination, communication, mediation, negotiation, and networking.

Tell us about an experience in which you have brought together actors within a civil society or NGO process. What strategies did you use to build trust and coordination, and what results or lessons did you learn from that experience?

Describe in a maximum of 500 words how your experience reflects the expected profile. Include examples of specific processes, projects, or cases in which you have participated.

Have you previously participated as a mentor/advisor in citizen participation processes? Tell us about the contribution and impact your contributions had on a mentoring experience.

Part 3 - Mentoring skills

Have you had experience sharing your knowledge or career path through lectures, seminars, workshops, or courses on social, political, or public interest topics? Tell us where you have participated, what your role was, and what impact these activities had.

Have you had any experience related to academia (as a researcher, teacher, tutor, or academic advisor) or in personalized tutoring processes with individuals or organizations?

I have had occasional involvement with academia (attending courses, assisting with research or training activities). I have participated as a teacher, workshop leader, or tutor in academic or training processes, and I have accompanied individuals and organizations in learning or advisory spaces on social or community issues. I have a solid track record in teaching and research, and I have led personalized support processes for individuals and organizations, integrating strategic guidance to strengthen their capabilities.

Part 4 - Commitment and collaboration
